I don't know how many of you know of Holmes on Homes, but its the greatest home repair show since Home Improvement or This Old House with Bob Villa. Mike Holmes comes into peoples homes after a General Contractor has royally screwed up and left a room or the whole house in a mess and usually unsafe and not to code. He spends the first 5 minutes of every show talking to the homeowner, then the next 10 minutes ripping the previous general contractor, the rest of the show is demo and remodeling the room. At the end the homeowners come back and are shocked and the women hug Mike.
The reason I tell you this is because 1) its a great show and 2) I heard Canada had a "repairman" fix the torch that had mechanical issues during the Opening Ceremonies. Mike Holmes is from Canada, he's the greatest non-comic to come from Canada since Wayne Gretzky, why not have Holmes come out and fix the torch, it would've been pure comedy gold for Canadians and Americans.
Anyways if you want to find Holmes on Homes on tv it is on HGTV.
